That's exactly what I thought, David, and I am very confident that the vast majority of the participants live in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra (in that order), being representatives of national bodies. Also only one academic from each of Tasmania, SA & WA and what on earth are channels nine and seven doing in the community representatives!!
I got a Dear John letter from the tax reform unit. But I guess saying in my 'application' that I would challenge the neoliberal tax reform consensus probably didn't win me any support.
