Bit odd. Until last Monday, the closing date was last Monday.
Seems a bit odd that "Due to a high level of interest from Australians", the closing date for nominations has been extended.
Was crikey right when it claimed less than 600 had applied by the closing time?
Quite possibly, many people di dnot consider they would be 'eligible'.
In fact, until a coupleof weeks ago, I did not even know one could nominate.
Heard the announcement on the radio and assumed it would be by invitation only.
It's an excellent initiative, though.
