Australia's Number 1... for swine flu

as a proportion of population

And we're even close to number one in absolute terms:

UPDATE: Bruce Bradbury points out that Australia's high numbers might merely indicate that Australians have good access to doctors and make use of that access.

He says more useful would be figures on the number of people hospitalised with swine flu in each country.
